Carlile and
Indigo Girls at Orphan
Legendary crooner Peabo Bryson came to Orphan
to record vocals on a song that will be on his forthcomng
CD. It will be his first CD in 10 years. Producer Barry Eastman
came down from New York for the session. Look for his release
on Peak Records sometime this Fall.
Rob and Glenn have been busy mixing the new
sitcom 'House Of Payne' airing on TBS in June. 'House Of Payne'
is a Tyler Perry production about an African American family
of firefighters set in an Atlanta neighborhood. TBS will be
airing 100 episodes through 2007. Yes, thats, right. 100 episodes!
We'll be busy for quite a while.

Kristian Bush, of Sugarland,
came to Orphan to record song demos. Glenn Matullo engineered.
Atlantans TIGER!TIGER!
ecorded a new CD at Orphan Studio. Engineer Rob Gal recorded
and mixed the tracks. Look for a Spring release.
Keni
Thomas, of Cornbread, recorded a song for Talladega Speedway.
The song will be featured in T.V. spots airing this season.

Garrett
Moore is back at Orphan finishing up tracks for his debut
CD. Glenn Matullo is producing and engineering the CD.
Over-The-Counter
Culture recorded their debut EP at Orphan. Glenn Matullo
engineered and produced the tracks.
Molly
Bancoft recently came to Orphan to record vocals on a
dance track for an Italian DJ. Former lead singer/songwriter
for Atlanta band Lift, Molly has put out 2 solo CDs, Get Closer
(recorded @Orphan) and Red Dirt Diaries. Her latest side project
is with DJ superstars Gabriel and Dresden. Molly sings and
co-wrote their hit Tracking Treasure Down. DJ around the globe
are now interested in working with Molly. The Italians were
the lucky ones, so Molly wrote the lyrics for the track and
recorded it at Orphan. Details on availablity to come.
COMMERCIAL NEWS
Turner Broadcasting has been coming in
regulary to do Sound Design work on TNT movie of the week
spots. 'Air Force 1' was the lastes and can been seen on our
commercial samples page. Rob
Gal and Glenn Matullo have been engineering those sessions.
American Systems came Orphan to record voice-overs
for The Coca-Cola Company Marketing DNA cuuriculum training
program. Jeremy Crowder engineered.
